The PAUSitive Sketch


She was busy at work.

He had finally agreed to her.

They had decided on this arrangement for long…actually a decade ago, when they were in College & had watched the Titanic movie together.

That they would enact that scene…

Today was that day…

He was sitting as the model.

She was busy sketching him.

He: “Is it done? How much more time?”

She: “Yes, almost! All good things need time & patience! Wait!”
When the sketch was over, she gave a smug smile.


He rushed to see her creation.
He: “Hey! Pretty good! But, this one does not have my stubble!”

She: “And how nice your face looks! If you want to ask for my hand in marriage, you must be clean-shaven. My parents dislike the stubble. My Mom always says – ‘I hate that unclean stubble’*”

He looked pretty upset.

He: “Why should I dance to anyone’s tunes? It’s my life!”

She: “Look, I love you the way you are. But, think of the society, my parents… Personally, I feel Sketches and photographs look better when men are clean-shaven! Also, it's more comfortable when we both get close! Once we get married, if you still want your stubble, you may keep it... But, I doubt as after you are clean-shaven, you'll like it!"

He: “Yes dear! Whatever you say! Be ready to find a clean-shaven handsome groom at your door, who resembles this sketch & looks like the hero of the Titanic movie!”


*83% Women think men with stubble haven’t taken bath.
