ABCD Of PAUS


It was the last weekend of 2013.

The friends had planned a Pajama Party.

Everyone was really excited especially Sameer as he planned to propose to Sriya in the party. 

Sriya was pretty and resembled a bit to Nicole Faria (who plays ‘Jia’, the heroine of the 2014 Hindi-movie, Yaariyan).

When Sameer confided his plans to propose to Sriya, his best-friend said, “Don’t even try, Sameer! I know Sriya likes clean-shaven men! I had overheard her saying, ‘I hate that unclean stubble*’ when Professor Verma had come unshaven to class!"



Even after getting the warning, Sameer still wanted to propose!

The party was really cool.

The friends played the latest sound-tracks and danced. 

Yo Yo Honey Singh’s famous song, ‘ABCD’, from the movie Yaariyan was playing.

But, just then, the electricity went off!

Candles were lit.


Perhaps it was the effect of the cocktails as Sriya started singing the same song by altering its lyrics.

“A for- Aao re Aao! (Come, Come!)

C for- CLEAN-SHAVEN BUN JAO! (Become Clean-shaven!)
D for- DASHING DIKHTEY JAO! (Keep on looking Dashing!)”

When the lights came, Sameer knew he had to- Become clean-shaven before proposing to Sriya!
