Drenched

Advik, a teenager, was missing.

Inspector Rimi checked his room.

Photo Prompt- Jennifer Pendergast

There was something about the Panda soft-toy there.

It seemed prominent like a majestic tree in the field.

Photo Prompt- Sandra Crook

Rimi picked the Panda and felt something hard.

She found a key inside the flap.

Testing the key, she realized it was the key to the bunk-bed.

After unlocking, Inspector Rimi found a large number of paintings.

She observed that his uncle was gingerly running his hands over the creative artworks.

"Your nephew seems to be a master artist!" Rimi remarked admiringly.

It was raining heavily.

There was a knock at the door.

It was Advik!

Photo Prompt- Dale Rogerson

Advik was back from the neighbouring city.

His painting "Drenched" won the first prize in the painting competition there!

  5. I liked the connection of raining and the title being drenched - and the panda stood out to me when i was scanning the photo prompt and so I was glad to see your clever way of having that little stuffy play a nice part in your fiction
