She
loved the wooden wall hanging in the knick-knacks shop.
She
purchased it for her garden.
It
was summer.
She
thought of the two blue birds who often visited her garden.
They
could make it their cozy home!
After
she fixed it on the wall, she was overjoyed to find the two birds promptly
inside!
Smiling
widely, she went to fetch them some water.
When
she came out with a water bowl, she was surprised to find the wall hanging had
become at least ten times larger!

Instead
of the two blue birds, a cute fairy couple greeted her warmly!

It is summer time already here. Birds and creatures need water. Please leave a bowl of water on your terrace, balcony, or garden. It may quench their thirst...

ReplyDeleteA happy purchase.
ReplyDeleteSimply delightful! I've written quite a few stories about fairies so I guess that makes me a believer!
ReplyDeleteStrengthening a wall with an inner - the joy of two birds - a transformation of the couple to a sweet being : As we say in Norway; well begun is half-way done! Let that garden be surrounded by walls, and it will be the garden of Eden! 😊
ReplyDeleteNow that is what we call magic! Lovely, Anita.
ReplyDeleteSounds just like something fairies would do. I'm glad she was pleasantly surprised by them.
