"I’ve checked each and every box; there’s
no trace of the drugs."
The officer-in-charge, O, told the detective,
D.
Photo Prompt- David Stewart |
"O! Don't you know? This is a smart move
by the drug cartel to make the case slow!"
"Think out of the box; don't go with the flow!"
D replied in his characteristic style.
"Oh! Maybe the fake news and boxes were
planted here to throw us off-guard & waste our time so!" O remarked.
Meanwhile, D had traced the drugs' movement by
tracking the mobile-phone that the drug-dealers had used.
"Think like there’s no box; you'll know!"
D signed off.

For this story, I just went with the flow! :)
Hope we do not have drug-dealers and drug-addicts in our world. Drug-addiction has wrecked many families.
I would have loved if all these boxes were filled with books! That would gift food for thought!

ReplyDeleteThe drug dealers were clever, but D more so!
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about crime solving, but I do agree with the advice to 'think like there's no box'. Good life advice. Intriguing story.
ReplyDeleteD had it all figured out! -Angela
ReplyDeleteThat's out of the box thinking indeed. The rhyming is fun😊
