She leaves her home to stay with her man,
She adopts the new & does the best she can.
She sacrifices her dreams at the drop of a hat,
She accepts all & willingly becomes a doormat.

She changes her dressing style & personality-
She becomes quiet & dumb; not chatty or witty.
She is expected to make parathas & cook & feed.
She is no more the delicate flower, treated like a weed.
She is busy playing roles like daughter-in-law, wife...
She is not at the driving wheel of the car of her life.
She does not respond when you try to reach & talk.
She escapes from everyone's radar; not scary & no shock.
She may be the average girl next door - She can be you or me.
Do you know such a girl in your circle, locality or city?
