The Tree Mystery

Lisa went to their garden with her notebook.

Being inspired by nature, she wanted to write a story for “Earth Day”.

She settled in the cool shade of their mango tree.

She spotted a well-crafted tiny door attached to the tree trunk in front.

Who lived there?

Should she open the door and check?

The moment Lisa touched the latch, she found herself shrinking in size!

She could then walk through the door!

The interior was well-maintained and neatly stacked with belongings.

Just then, someone tapped her shoulder!

Lisa woke up startled.

“It’s getting dark. Come home,” her mother said.

Have combined last week's prompt too as I was unable to participate last week.

Earth Day was on April 22nd. How did you celebrate?

Have you ever relaxed in the shade of a tree? Please share in the comments below.

Please do share your name as well.

Beautiful blending of the two prompts. Who knew there'd be a tourist shop inside the old tree!

  4. I love dreams like that! I'm glad her mom knew where to find her. Who knows what was going to happen next in the dream.

  5. In this case I think I'm rather glad it was just a dream. The adventures inside that door could be fun though!
