My Heart Will Go On

Rose was visiting her village after years.

Memories came alive.

There was Jack serenading her.
She was ready to jump from her window!

Prompt- Alicia Jamtaas

Things had changed after the war.
Her home was bombed.
Futile efforts to rebuild and then abandonment...
Prompt- J Hardy Carroll

She refused to accept the dilapidated sight.

She was reliving all the wild things she had done with Jack.
She was always the crazy kind.

Jack was no more.
Prompt- Roger Bultot

But, the heart he had drawn on that bench by the bridge, still remained reminding her of her first love.

100 Words story for Friday Fictioneers
As I could not share my stories in the past few weeks, thus I have taken the liberty to use two previous picture-prompts as well along with the current one.
Do you remember your first love? Have you ever gifted a heart to anyone?

Lots of love for everyone! Happy Valentine's Day in advance!
The names of the characters- Rose & Jack - and the title of this story have been inspired from the Hollywood movie- Titanic.
Did you remember Titanic while reading this story?
