The Storm Shall Pass

There was a severe thunder-storm.

The day seemed like night.

There was no electricity.

She could barely see anything.

The tree in the backyard crashed on her cottage.

There was dust everywhere.

Strong winds were on her face.

She fainted...

---------------------------------------------------

"Now, slowly open your eyes..."

She found herself in a hospital.

"Are you feeling okay?"

The young doctor’s voice sounded familiar.

She was measuring her pulse.

The pretty doctor's face looked familiar too.

She could not remember...

"Who brought me here?"

"I did."

"Do you know me?" she asked.

"Don't worry. All will be well, mother," the doctor said.
