It was Bini's first visit to the
'Palace Museum'.
The portrait of the bowl of
seashells attracted Bini.

As she observed intently, she
was surprised to hear the waves of the sea!
Bini saw sand and sea-shells
all around and realized that she was teleported to the same beach where she had
spent her childhood!
Bini was very excited.
She started gathering seashells!
A HUGE WAVE ENGULFED HER.
Water was on her face.
Gasping for breath, Bini opened
her eyes.
She was at the Museum.
"Are you okay?" her
friend asked.
"You suddenly fainted. I
put water on your face..."

Do you get overwhelmed by past memories?
Ah, but was it just a faint?

DeleteDear Anita,
ReplyDeleteDreams can seem so real.
Shalom,
Rochelle
The mind can transport us to many places. I smiled when the splash of water was incorporated into the other realm.
ReplyDeleteI remember as a kid thinking the sound in shells was magical. Like the ocean's telephone. The story took me back. 😀
ReplyDeleteNice one.
ReplyDeleteA nice combination of dream and reality :)
ReplyDeleteThe painting struck a chord in her mind, it happens.
