What The Stranger Told Her

It was her first international solo-travel.

The place of attraction was crowded.

Photo Prompt- Roger Bultot

She was walking on the road when there was a loud gunshot.

The crowd went berserk.

Luckily, she hopped into a shop.

The shopkeeper quickly closed the door.

In his deep voice, he said something in the local language.

She gestured that she did not understand.

"Spanish? French? Russian?" he asked.

She knew none of those foreign languages!

"You know English/Hindi?"

"Yes, of course!" she said.

"Great! Don't worry," he assured.

"Gunshots are normal in this part of the world. Have a nice trip."

I don't think I'd want to travel to a place where gunshots are common. Ouch.

    Shalom,
