Face The Storm

She knew the storm was approaching.

She had no decent place to stay.

She could do nothing but hope for the best.

She had to wait for the storm to pass.

 

While shutting the windows of his plush apartment, he saw her.

She was shivering on the pavement right outside their gate.

He could see fear and sadness in her eyes.

Wanting to do something for her, he went downstairs.

In a comforting voice, he invited her to his home if she had no objection.

She simply followed him.


The storm passed.

But, she stayed!


He loved his new pet-companion.
