That Girl In The Portrait

She was visiting the fair when she saw some paintings.

The biggest one was a true-to-life painting of a beautiful girl.

Despite wearing sunglasses, she instantly identified that girl in the portrait.

She knew the artist too.

Photo Prompt- Brenda Cox

He was busy with his works and customers.

"She looks like a goddess! Is this painting of a real person?"

Everyone was appreciating that portrait.

"Yes, she is a real person."

"Share her contact details please!"

"She lives in my heart and mind!"

She realized that he still loves her.

She was right behind… yet another face in the crowd of his admirers.

  2. "Yet another face in the crowd of his admirers." That sums up her difficulty, I suspect. Does she believe in herself enough to remind him of what they once shared?

  13. Very hard for her to express her true feelings in these circumstances. Perhaps she's better off staying in the crowd. Maybe he will notice her.
