Lizzy and Rizzy were not
expecting anything that Christmas.
They had lost both their parents
to an accident...
Imagine their surprise when
they opened their door to find Christmas gifts!
"Isn't this our
grandmother's rocking-chair?"
"Yes, the one we had to
sell off!"
"Look! The same encyclopedia that we have been dreaming!"
The sisters were delighted to
receive the precious gifts.
They checked CCTV footage and saw
that three masked men had left the gifts for them.

A lovely little story, sad but also good.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your choice of Christmas gifts for the girls. Grandmother's rocking chair symbolising the continuity of the family, and the encyclopaedia symbolising the great value of knowledge.
