It is great to share that about the publication of my second eBook- ‘Rasagola Dibasa - Odisha Celebrates A Day for Rasagola (Rasgulla)’. It was launched in this year's Blogchatter EBook Carnival.

The publication shares about Rasagola, a day for Rasagola celebration i.e. "Rasagola Dibasa", & Odisha’s centuries-old continuing tradition of Niladri Bije of Ratha Yatra.

In 2015, when this writer first proposed & initiated #RasagolaDibasa celebration online:

1. Many were ignorant about Niladri Bije, which is a continuing tradition that marks the entry of the deities back to the Puri Shree Jagannatha Temple after they return from the Ratha Yatra.

2. There was no research or historical references about our Rasagola.

3. There were hardly any books or articles about Rasagola.

Experts Of Odisha Handlooms and Handicrafts

I am deeply saddened to share that Odisha has lost key officials, who were treasure-houses and walking encyclopedias about Odisha handlooms and handicrafts-

Shri Devaraja Sahu and Shri Basanta Kumar Dash (B.K.Dash).

Both these late personalities were valuable experts, who had a wealth of knowledge about our Odisha handlooms and handicrafts.

Despite their position, expertise, and experience, they were so simple, humble, and approachable. They were a phone-call away. They listened and patiently answered.

Oversize Load

"I am telling you- This Covid is a way of the Universe to tell us that it cannot take more load." 

Ashok expressed his theory. 

His mother did not agree. 

She said, "This Universe is God's creation. Maintaining it is our responsibility."

 

"God has decided all this, anyway. He is overloaded too and doesn't want oversize load," Ashok reasoned.

His mother proposed- "How about sharing some oversize load of God?"
