Valuable Victorious Virtue- Valour #RasagolaA2Z

Valour is great courage in the fact of danger, especially in battle. 

Courage is the ability to control your fear in a dangerous or difficult situation.

Courage is to stand up with and for what is right-

To voluntarily join the battle/war & take up the fight.

Courage is aiming to be victor, immersing in war/battle-

Not “burying your head”, “watching the fun”, or belittle.

To fight with valour, though opposition has might.

Not be disheartened or lose the goal-post in sight.

Courage is to create path, swim against the tide, or wade,

It's courage when you are voluble & call a spade a spade.

Courage is that visible enthusiasm you show-

Uplifting people around, who are feeling low;

To walk the talk and prove; let actions speak-

No empty words or merely pay lip-service bleak;

To motivate everyone and be the valiant spark;

To spread vigour and light when all seems dark.

Voicing thoughts, raising issues, though no echoes;

Rekindling hope & vision, emerging from the lows.

Courage is like the process of purification of gold-

Visa to the other side of courage glitters when all behold. 

It’s courage even though it’s not recognized or known-

No one applauds or cheers when you’re in victory zone.

Not every courageous person wins an award/crown-

Nor earns a kind word or warm mention in the town.

Not all, who are brave, receive medals & certificates-

Can’t buy courage; though the above are sold in crates!

It takes courage to cast vanity & swallow a bitter pill-

Analyze another point of view & follow the drill.

How can they be victorious, who lack verve & are spineless?

Being cunning, they are a wolf in a sheep-skin-dress!

Their vile conscience permits them to take center-stage!

They put themselves on top, and golden names on page! 

No, you are not a hero, just because the media made you one.

Note- Shree Jagannatha is watching everything & everyone.

Courage is to go to any extent for loved one & motherland,

Indomitable spirit, honesty & love make courage grand.

It takes courage to expose injustice & point the wrong,

Courage validates, and keeps us sane and strong.

That unwavering stance, despite brickbats & threats-

That zeal despite being the underdog with less bets.

Courage is the ability to pick self up & walk the ramp-

Even when those who pushed you belong to your camp!

Courage binds just like constructing-material- cement.

Vitamin V- V is Valour- is what you need to supplement.

Don’t underestimate this valuable V factor in your life.

It’s your valid defense-system to withstand & counter strife.

Courage is what makes one invest time & effort to express,

Though experience shows copycats copy & present to impress.

Courage enables one to bare one's soul, be transparent & true- 

Though branded "attention-seeker, jobless & without clue"!

Courage is persisting even when many don’t support,

Relentlessly pursuing even when jeered or taken to court;

When the vainglorious persons hibernate or vacillate,

When veterans are paralyzed or in a vacuous state, 

When the “intelligentsia/powerful/popular” act asinine,

Courage is not say-"Yes, Sir" & not pretend all is fine!

That’s courage which dares to tell the emperor-

“No, you don’t have any clothes” & show the mirror.

Dare to face the mirror & look at yourself in the eyes?

It’s cowardice to hide under the veneer of theft & lies.

It’s unethical to steal others work & pass it as your own,

It takes courage to acknowledge everyone’s contribution.

It takes courage to vouch & venerate, without grumble,

Note- Fake identities crumble & false pedestals tumble.

Courage makes us a true hero and may earn us fame.

Courage is surviving virulent & vicious atmosphere,

Holding on to vistas, values & virtues that are dear, 

Vulnerable alone when few dare to share your frame-

When the verbose voices are quiet; away from game. 

Courage is when you intervene to make truth win-

Courage is the triumphant conch over vanquished din.

It takes courage- the courage to accept what’s true.

To accept & adopt the truth, what’s stopping you?

This poem is dedicated to all those brave souls who have sincerely stood and are standing for a cause, not out of vested interests, but rather to support and establish facts and ensure justice.

We need more people with courage to stand up for the truth so that truth wins.

Me: “Rasagola is our Odisha’s pride and prestige. My open letter is just a small step for motherland. Why is it being considered as opposition or anti-Govt activity? Activism and advocacy for the GI tag of  Odisha Rasagola is for our Odisha state.”

Sincere thanks to all valiant souls, who have been a part of this Rasgulla journey so far, and have supported Odisha to emerge victorious on the GI-stage show, and contributed for the GI Tag for Odisha Rasagola. Take a bow! We still have a long way to go. Odisha is the birthplace of Rasagola- many are yet to know. Let's fasten the seat-belts, create path, inspire, and keep the courage and enthusiasm alive to #EndRasgullaDebate by going against the flow. I pray that may the valour grow and glow.
