A business
tycoon was found dead in his office-room.
The CCTV
had been tampered.
“Do you
notice anything unusual here?” the police asked his personal assistant when she
arrived at the crime scene.
One look at
his room and she pointed at the packaged water-bottle.

“Sir never
used plastic-bottles or packaged water. He always drank boiled water from a
glass bottle that he carried from home.”
“May be
today he had forgotten to get his bottle?”
Shaking her
head, she said, “He wouldn’t even touch one of those.”
“The murderer must have left his fingerprints on the bottle”, she concluded.

There is more to what meets the eye. What do you think?
Maybe the murderer wore gloves? But, then again, if they were careless enough to leave their refreshment behind, probably not
ReplyDeleteCareless assassin.
ReplyDeleteMaybe fingerprints, maybe DNA, not too smart!
ReplyDeleteNice imagined scene from the prompt, but they really should have been more careful if they were planning to commit murder!
ReplyDeleteI wish all murderers were this dumb!
ReplyDeleteShe knows her boss well, doesn't she?
ReplyDeleteShalom,
Rochelle
DNA, especially if the cap had been removed and the assassin took a drink. That's a smart assistant!
ReplyDeleteI reckon that was found in the street by the villain and brought in to mislead the cops!
ReplyDeleteDNA - we chose the same theme in a way!
ReplyDeleteHard to get anything past that sir's assistant, I bet.
ReplyDeleteNicely done!
ReplyDeleteAha! Columbo!!
ReplyDeleteI reckon she did it. She knows a little too much...
