Rosy Future

When she reached the multi-billionaire's palatial home, his eligible bachelor son's birthday party was on.

The moment she entered the hall, sparks flew.

Heads turned.

The fortune-reader's crystal ball sparkled.

The hall looked brighter.

The birthday boy looked spellbound.

MidWeekFlash

The fortune-reader knew exactly what was going to happen.

The dreams of the eligible ladies seemed to be crumbling.

She continued walking oblivious to her surroundings.

She had not been invited to the party…

But, she was not gate-crashing.

Rochelle Wisoff-Fields

When she entered the kitchen, the home-manager gave a cry of surprise!

“Rosy! Welcome back my child!”

“Glad to be back, Grandma!”

  3. Interesting to see how this unfolds.
I don't think I believe in crystal balls as such but I do believe in some sort of psychic ability and getting a sense of things.
    Best wishes,

  4. I don't believe in it, but it would be nice to know the future - especially where romance and fortune come into it!

  5. I was confused on the first read-through, but figured it out on the second. Great story, but no, I don't believe in crystal balls and fortune tellers. Are some people psychics? Debatable, but there does seem to be some sort of anecdotal evidence.

  7. An intriguing tale indeed. Fortune tellers are not for me, I don't even believe the weather forecast!

    Here's mine!

  11. Great story! It reminds me of the movie Sabrina with the girl coming home and turning the heads of all the guys. Loved it.

  14. The lines sounded like pieces of a puzzle that came together at the end. Nicely done.
