Dear Anita,
ReplyDeleteMany attics and homes are being cleared and cleaned these days. Sounds like Grandpa was either a time traveler or a clairvoyant.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Fun story, Anita
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteA lot of housework and attics being emptied at the moment, I wonder what treasures will be unearthed!
ReplyDeleteLovely story Anita
ReplyDeleteMaybe grandpa isn't really gone, maybe he's just in another time now? I enjoyed your story.
ReplyDeleteSome are using this time for decluttering, others for cooking... Grandpa had special powers, methinks
ReplyDeleteInteresting take on the prompt. Grandpa seems to have some special powers--time travel?
ReplyDeleteWow, that painting might be the key to a better life ... after COVID of course. Magical tale!
ReplyDeleteAmusing take, I wonder how he did it
ReplyDeleteI'd like to get to know Grandpa. Good job!
ReplyDeleteHey, this is not part of the A to Z Challenge? Wonder how you manage to find time to write so much. Hats off to you!
ReplyDeleteThat was a short and 'bittersweet' story. You feel bad about the tragic background and yet feel proud about the hidden talent that runs in their heritage.
