That Lady In Red

The musical performance had garnered good publicity and audience.

He was delighted to have attended it.

The best part of the show was that he finally got to see her in flesh and blood.

He was amazed that she really existed.

She was wearing a red gown and was looking like a queen.
He would now be able to complete his painting- 'That Lady In Red'.

After the show, he tried to look for her.
She was nowhere to be found!

He felt a gentle tap on his back.

Turning back, he got a surprise!
"Are you looking for me?"

100 Words story for Friday Fictioneers and #MidWeekFlashChallenge

Who do you think was trying to get in touch with him?
Do you believe in the law of attraction and that if we truly love something or someone with all our heart, we will attract them to our life?

  9. I believe we throw energy out into the universe and if we are lucky the right recipients respond -- and vice versa. Well-developed story within the word limit.

  13. I think it was the lady in red. What a wonderful shock it would have been for him! There certainly seem to be some meetings that are 'fated'. I've met people who became significant to me in one context, only to discover that I could have met them somewhere else earlier, or even in two other different places; and none of the contexts have been related; they're just 'coincidence'.
