The
musical performance had garnered good publicity and audience.
He was delighted to have attended it.
The best
part of the show was that he finally got to see her in flesh and blood.
He was amazed that she really existed.
She was wearing a red gown and was looking like
a queen.
After the show, he tried to look for her.
She was nowhere to be found!
He felt a gentle tap on his back.
Turning
back, he got a surprise!
"Are
you looking for me?"

Wouldn't that be a lovely thing to happen.

ReplyDeleteI believe we throw energy out into the universe and if we are lucky the right recipients respond -- and vice versa. Well-developed story within the word limit.
ReplyDeleteSomething cosmic going on. A great story to expand.
ReplyDeleteLovely story here! I think it must be the lady in red behind him. 😉
ReplyDeleteLaw of attraction...? I dont know, but the Writer's Red lady it is, I think. 🙂
ReplyDeleteI think it was the lady in red. What a wonderful shock it would have been for him! There certainly seem to be some meetings that are 'fated'. I've met people who became significant to me in one context, only to discover that I could have met them somewhere else earlier, or even in two other different places; and none of the contexts have been related; they're just 'coincidence'.
ReplyDeleteCharming tale
ReplyDeleteWell penned.
ReplyDeleteGreat story, Anita. :)
ReplyDeleteAww, I hope it continues to be a happy ending :)
ReplyDeleteI liked the way you encompassed them both, well done.
