Post-Marital Grief #writebravely

“I didn’t know that you are such a fool!” the newly-wed bride told her husband.

“Why did you marry me?” he asked.

“They told that you are a king and are very rich! You are neither!” she grieved.

“You should have talked to me when I had visited your home to see you.”

“But, you were so quiet and gave only one-word or one-line answers. They said you are very intelligent and have gravity.”

He didn’t tell her that it was his plan.
"Blessed is the man who, having nothing to say, abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact." – George Eliot
“You could've found out for yourself. Choosing me was your decision. Now stop the blame-game and grief!”

Is it too late now for the new bride? What do you think she will do next? Is grieving the solution? Do share your views in the comments below.

  1. Hahahaha. Her choice whether she wants to continue grieving. Better option will be to discover what type of person he really is. Who knpws maybe he is 'the one' for her.
