To her relief, both she and her daughter were safe in the
car.
But, there were strange creatures in front.
Her daughter was screaming.
“I need you to stay quiet and out of sight”, she

Yes! Victory! That's what playing is all about.

ReplyDeleteGreat twist. Good story. And I might gave to nab that car photo for a prompt! Thanks for joining.
ReplyDeletelol That's a relief it was a video game. Good story, Anita. :-) I haven't played a video game in many years.
ReplyDeleteGlad it was only a video game, Anita.
ReplyDeleteShalom,

I used to play video games. These days life itself sometimes feels like a video game. Especially when you navigate through Bengaluru traffic. :)
ReplyDeleteNice video game. Aliens probably use more advanced technology than fire arms. But nice and futuristic story.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh Anita... for a while I really thought its some eerie blood thirsty story. Kudos to you for creating this evocative scene right in my mind!
ReplyDeleteAbout the video games, I am no fan of it. But I do like the Nintendo or XBox games.
:D That was an unexpected ending. :)
ReplyDeleteNice take on the prompt, interesting presentation.
