Dear God, Tell Me!

Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers
This happened the other day,
When I began to pray...
God appeared in front of me!
I was really surprised to see!

God:
“You have a lot of queries!
Now I’m free, ask me please!”
I didn’t know what to do/say!
What a blessing had come my way!
WOW: Conversation With God
Me:
“Why do people play with trust?
Why everything turns to dust?
What happens to life after death?
How do we know the remaining breath?”

Me:
“Why are people so mean & selfish?
Why don’t we get what we wish?
Why is truth/honesty considered queasy?
Why the fake/corrupt have things easy?”

Me:
“Why aren’t 100 good things important,
While the 1-2 bad things dominant?
How can there be peace on Earth?
What is the reason- why do we take birth?”

Questions were racing in my mind.
God was smiling & being patient & kind!
He listened with rapt attention to me!
I kept asking by feeling totally free!

God:
“It’s all the ways of the world, my child!
It’s a labyrinthine that’s complex & beguiled.
Just be good & do good in every way,
Try to be the best version of you everyday!”

God:
“The world will be a truly better place,
If being good is what all decide to chase!
Karma, destiny, debt, gain, loss, yearning...
Remember- you are here to keep learning”.

Me:
"I value your conversation with me,
How can I make it a daily reality?"
God:
"I'm everywhere, try to establish connection.
Believe in me, there is power in devotion."

Bright light shone; I could experience!
To me, all Qs & As started making sense.
From that day, everything appears fine!
Have you ever had such a conversation divine?

  2. Ah, there are so many questions I would like to ask God. I liked the ones you asked. I wonder too why people are so mean and selfish, as in one of your stanzas. I think sometimes God is hiding face with all that humans are doing to the planet. God's world has turned into such a bitter place.

  14. If at all God ever turns up, I will ask Him to wait and search your poem and read it out to him, except for His answers part. And I am sure, His answers would be what you have penned!
    Absolutely heart touching!

The most satisfying and touching line was, 'Try to be the best version of you everyday!'.
