Overpowering Lust

My lust is overpowering, yet sets me free.
It makes me do sneaky stuff surreptitiously.

I do it in the closet or the haystack or under the bed,
Beneath the stairs, under the stars, in places unsaid...

I feel comfortable where I can avoid detection.
I need my space and the object(s) of my fascination.

One moment it is X, another moment Y, Z or N!
I love the way this lust makes my life happen!

I am unapologetic to declare my lust with pride-
My personality has this unknown and strange side!

I surprise myself being meekly dominated by its thrust,
They say one has to pay an exorbitant price for lust...

No matter how much time I spend it feels incomplete,
There's so much to do & know & lots to greet!

Don't know & can't say where my lustful journey will take,
The grasp of the mesmerized state is tough to break...

No person can appease me or quench my thirst!
I am hard to please as I am bitten by wonderlust!

  1. At my age it is the lust for life! However I expect writing will be a popular response won't it?

  3. What a frolic! It isn't until near the end that this narrator reveals the passion is in every aspect of life. This narrator has much to look forward to.
