The view from the mountain-top was awesome.
It was the maiden visit of the heiress to the site of her new resort-cum-theme park.
The property was worth millions of dollars.
The plan had been approved and the construction was to commence.
"What will happen to all these exotic trees?" she asked admiring the lush vegetation.
"They all will be cleared for our project, Madam," her manager replied.
"Change in plan. I want a 'Nature Theme Park' with all these trees intact. Let guests experience flora, fauna and natural beauty. Let's have a meeting with the architects and engineers right now."

Dear Anita,
ReplyDeleteShe's a wise woman. A nature theme park is a lovely idea. Nicely done.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Good woman.
ReplyDeleteI feel terrible whenever I see a tree chopped down.
Our local beach has experienced severe erosion over the last couple of years and rows of trees were ripped out by the roots and left dying upon the sand. I was so upset and powerless. Very sad.
Best wishes,
Rowena
OH, good. A change in thinking resulting in a change of plans--that's a good thing, in this case. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't that be a refreshing change?! Here's hoping.
ReplyDeleteThere's someone with the right priorities! Let's work with nature rather than against it.
ReplyDeleteI like this woman. If she ever stood for president, I'll vote for her. It's time people thought more about environmental conservation, instead of commercialization.
ReplyDeleteThat's more like it! Great story, and a great message for everyone!

She does have her priorities right. Nature Theme Park is such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea. It would have been sad to lose all that history and heritage.
ReplyDeleteShe's got the right idea. We all need more nature (theme parks).
ReplyDeleteGood decision full of integrity
