Khushi was busy installing her latest creation in their lawn one evening.
"What has my scientist created?" Sita asked her daughter.
"This is a gadget that traps the impurity from the surrounding atmosphere. It converts the air-pollution to an environment-friendly mixture for soil!"
Sita was amazed to hear this.
Was the device really capable of this?
"Our world needs more of these to be a clean place", Sita said.
It rained the next morning, but only on the area in and around Sita's home and lawn...
"Happy Birthday, Mom! My gift - clean air for you!" Khushi said happily.

ReplyDeleteWe could all do with a device to clean our air - failing that, changing our ways to make this world a cleaner place must happen. Well written story.

ReplyDeleteYes please, we all need one of those machines
ReplyDeleteI would love one of these "gadgets"! This spring has been exceptionally bad as far as air pollution here in Hong Kong. The AQI index has been in the red & even purple (which is really unhealthy). Nicely written story!!
