Little Again #AToZChallenge

How strange is life with its ups & downs!
Lessons to learn with smiles & frowns...

How our wants & needs change along the way!
But, what'll happen tomorrow no one can say...

When we are little, we can't wait to grow-up soon!
The idea of being 'big' & 'matured' makes us swoon.

Time waves its wand with its quota of age & pain...
Many grown-ups realize- they wanna be little again!

Those little joys, simple wishes & innocent ways,
That love & care & lovely, happy, nostalgic days...

Then, we feel a little lost, trudging along life's road,
We question about having to carry life's heavy load.

What we loved is lost; we miss it & attempt to find-
Magical to discover those memories in our mind!

Sometimes on life's stage, do you feel a 'little lost'?
To be a 'little found' or 'little again', wanna pay a cost?

Do share if you wanna be little again.

I'm participating in my maiden #AToZChallenge. L For - Little, Life, Lost, Love, Lovely, Lessons, Learn
My Theme is- Poems About Life.

  1. Precious poem! I've found I can feel like a child again by playing with my granddaughter.

  2. Funny that, when we're little we can't wait to grow up and when we do get older we yearn for those carefree days. There has to be a sweet spot somewhere!

  3. Hehe... this is the irony of life: we never satisfy with our present condition. When we're little, want to grow big, and when big, want to become little once again.

  4. Well, who doesn't want to be little again? Everyday, there definitely comes a moment when I wish I had never grown up. Wish to go back to those carefree days. Chat endlessly with mom, follow dad to work and what not.

You brought nostalgia to the platter. Beautiful poem.

  6. I'm glad to be a "grown-up," but when I was little I did want to be big, just like your post mentions.
Excellent writing here. Keep it up!

  8. Yeah if only I could go back to being "Little". The problem of choosing crayons and not doing homework was much better than the "adult problems" LOL
