Next, I saw myself building a pretty sand-castle on the beach when my boyfriend got violent, pushed and
jabbed me and destroyed my castle.

Then, I saw myself as a victim of a bad marriage where my husband treated me like
refuse and I was praying to God to take me away.

Next, I found myself boarding a bus with the partner of my dreams for our honeymoon trip, but there was an accident and we both died hand-in-hand with unfulfilled dreams.
As I started sobbing recounting all my labored experiences of the past few hours that spanned several lifetimes, my Psychologist and Past Life Regression (PLR) consultant comforted me saying that he had recognized who I was.
When he proposed to marry me and I didn't refuse, he tied a thread as a makeshift ring around my ring-finger and promised me that in this present lifetime we both would get over our past and enjoy life as though it's a present (gift).

DeleteIt seems strange to me to link Friday Fictioneers (where we are supposed to write a 100-word, stand-alone story) to all of these prompts.

This is longer than 100 words & is not a stand-alone story.

'Today' i;m glad to be alive and be able to enjoy all the good things, wich pull me through the bad times.

DeleteThe only thing I see that might remotely relate to the insertion of two photo prompts. The story itself doesn't relate to either photo which normally wouldn't bother me but too many prompts makes for a lot of confusion.

We discussed this multi-prompt type of submission on Friday Fictioneers last week (see Rochelle's blog). I shared the opinion of others that the 'story' suffers as a result of attempting to weave in all these prompts. So I agree with CE and Dale above - it left me puzzled and more than a little frustrated. I hope you don't mind me saying so.

Whoa, that was a good one at the end with the past lives angle. Very good story. I like the way you used all the prompts even if it probably against the rules but it does say you can use other photos as long as you use the one for this week. :)

Yes, she marries the doc- her PLR consultant. Perhaps he too has gone through PLR earlier. After listening to her experiences, he realizes that he had been her partner in the past lifetimes. He wants to start life anew.
