Picture Prompt : Mondays Finish The Story |
Next, I saw myself building a pretty sand-castle on the beach when my boyfriend got violent, pushed and
jabbed me and destroyed my castle.

Picture Prompt : Blog-A-Rhythm |
Then, I saw myself as a victim of a bad marriage where my husband treated me like
refuse and I was praying to God to take me away.

Picture Prompt : Magpie Tales |
Next, I found myself boarding a bus with the partner of my dreams for our honeymoon trip, but there was an accident and we both died hand-in-hand with unfulfilled dreams.
As I started sobbing recounting all my labored experiences of the past few hours that spanned several lifetimes, my Psychologist and Past Life Regression (PLR) consultant comforted me saying that he had recognized who I was.
When he proposed to marry me and I didn't refuse, he tied a thread as a makeshift ring around my ring-finger and promised me that in this present lifetime we both would get over our past and enjoy life as though it's a present (gift).
I believe in Past Life & Past Life Regression, do you? Do share in the comments below.
Linking my Six Sentences Story with-
ABC Wednesday- P for- Past, Present, Past Life Regression, Pretty, Proposed, Promised, Psychologist, Pushed
Now, that's some twist in the little story! Nicely done, Anita!
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it, Beloo :) Thanks!
DeleteNice read
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by :)
DeleteIntriguing!
ReplyDeleteThat's PLR!
DeleteSuch an interesting post Anita! And yes I believe in past life regressions :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading & sharing, Richa :)
DeleteIt seems strange to me to link Friday Fictioneers (where we are supposed to write a 100-word, stand-alone story) to all of these prompts.
ReplyDeleteThe effort you put into it is quite the undertaking but weird to read.
This is longer than 100 words & is not a stand-alone story.
DeleteWill keep this in mind in the future.
your ' memories' out of the past are horrible... so first of all i want to wish you all the good in your present and future!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, i do believe in that to.... had similar therapies to learn how to deal with my past and it helped, still does every day.
'Today' i;m glad to be alive and be able to enjoy all the good things, wich pull me through the bad times.
Have a nice abc-day / -week

This was a story, Melody!
DeleteBut, I have read/seen people with such horrible past-life experiences.
Thanks for your good wishes & nice words :)
memories .. well past is gone and present is here to stay :)
ReplyDeleteBikram's
True! Hope present is a present for all :)
DeleteI believe in the POSSIBILITY...
ReplyDeleteROG, ABCW
POSITIVELY Roger :)
DeleteVery sorry, but I did not understand any of this.
ReplyDeleteAnd I could not see how it connected to the FF prompt.
Perhaps it is just me.
It's not just you, C.E.
DeleteThe only thing I see that might remotely relate to the insertion of two photo prompts. The story itself doesn't relate to either photo which normally wouldn't bother me but too many prompts makes for a lot of confusion.
I apologize for any offense but I have to be honest.
Shalom,
Rochelle
that should be..." might remotely relate to Friday Fictioneers"
DeleteTried to relate all the photo-prompts to past life experiences.
DeleteToo many pics can sometimes spoil the broth or enhance it; depends on how we taste/feel/interpret :)
Will keep your feedback in mind.
simple and a good narration. liked it.
ReplyDeleteRead this --> A Rat's Nibble : Calvin And Me
Nice to hear from you, Meera :)
DeleteThe past life memories are troublesome, indeed. However, nice twist at the end of the story.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading, Salvwi.
DeleteNice when there's happy & positive ending :)
We discussed this multi-prompt type of submission on Friday Fictioneers last week (see Rochelle's blog). I shared the opinion of others that the 'story' suffers as a result of attempting to weave in all these prompts. So I agree with CE and Dale above - it left me puzzled and more than a little frustrated. I hope you don't mind me saying so.
ReplyDeleteI love honest feedback, Sandra. Thanks for sharing.
DeleteI feel linking too many photo-prompts & weaving a single story is challenging & I love doing that.
The result depends :)
Whoa, that was a good one at the end with the past lives angle. Very good story. I like the way you used all the prompts even if it probably against the rules but it does say you can use other photos as long as you use the one for this week. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by & for your encouraging words, Deborah.
DeleteHad to share my story as it came to my mind when I saw all the photo-prompts! Love combining them & welcome such challenges :) Do keep visiting!
That sure is intriguing.....:)
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you here, Sunaina :)
DeleteI can see that there's a link. It's just different to what one would expect. And it's a good thing we are all different. What a boring world it would be if we were all the same.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :) It's such difference that we celebrate!
DeleteThe same pics elicit so many different stories & such different feedback regarding the stories :)
It's beautifully written on life, our battles and optimism. Superb:)
ReplyDeleteWe all fight such battles, Vishal. Hope we keep the faith & optimism for a fairy-tale ending!
DeleteThanks for your nice words.
That's a fab weaving of so many prompts beautifully. Liked this novel and an intriguing story! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your appreciation, Shilpa :)
DeleteGlad you liked it.
This was dark and so disconnected but still connected. I had to re-read but at the end loved how you could still have a flow! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your nice words :)
DeleteSometimes the end result makes sense & connects the disconnected!
How fantastically you have woven the story! 5 prompts and one story, it's unbelievable! super!!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words, Amitji :)
DeleteWow such a lovely twist. Great work Anita.
ReplyDeletePLR excites me a lot but I don't know much about it.. Would love to dig up more though! :)
Yes, the topic is exciting. Thanks for your nice words, Archana :)
DeleteOnly the last bit left me a little confused... she marries the doctor is my guess.
ReplyDeleteBut appreciate your effort in connecting the challenges together. It stretches your imagination a lot. Great read.
Yes, she marries the doc- her PLR consultant. Perhaps he too has gone through PLR earlier. After listening to her experiences, he realizes that he had been her partner in the past lifetimes. He wants to start life anew.
DeleteThanks for your appreciation, Indrani :)
It is always good to make peace with past...and nothing is better than a happy ending. Loved reading this story..you have weaved in so many different elements and connected it to one story..amazing.
ReplyDeleteVery true, Bushra. Hope we all have happy endings :)
DeleteThanks for your nice words.
Although I don't believe in past life but enjoyed reading the story! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading & sharing your thoughts, Moon :)
DeleteThis was a much intriguing post. You have linked up the challenges beautifully :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your feedback & appreciation, Maitreni :)
DeleteReally enjoyed by reading this story :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to learn. Thanks for reading, Arun :)
DeleteMany comments above testify this but I'll add still. I found the progress and the end perfect. Just perfect. The fact that you could do it with so less number of words makes it even more amazing. How love transcends time and births. Beautifully written.
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear from you, Anupam!
DeleteThanks for stopping by & sharing your benevolent words :)
Short and Sweet.
