No pot-holed or water-logged roads or poor transportation or borders or soldiers.

greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world - that is the myth

learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation,
which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest."

It is as though humanity is made up of two opposing peoples. Greed, envy cruelty have always won out over love, compassion and sharing. All we can do is exactly what you have done here and demonstrate the benefits of a peaceful loving world where all can coexist happily. Sadly that day is far off for so many.
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever and, as I said before, so philosophical! Thanks for your visit and comment! Have a great week, Anita.

So much wonderful thought contained in this piece that I hardly know where to start with it. I loved the concept of restoring the world to "factory settings" and I will remember it. It made me smile! Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could do that? And perhaps also if we could restore people to the original settings of their birth, when their spirits are still whole and perfect and their destiny is written in the stars, and not yet trampled into the ground? I love your vision for a kinder, gentler world based on principles of love, peace, and mutual good. I should like to live in your world! Perhaps if we all come together we can make the world we do have a better place for all to live!
ReplyDeleteWonderful is your world, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice post! So many good ideas rolled into one! :) All d best!
ReplyDeleteVow! what a thorough post Anita. Unfortunately we are gaining wisdom through experiences which is the bitterest one.

I think one of my favorite quotes here (and it shocks me that of all that is here I chose this one) is the one from Henry Ford... it just proves that we don't know what we want or what is possible...
ReplyDeleteExcellent post with great quotes & thoughts. All the best for the contest! :)
