Superpowers For Love!

I would love to get unlimited superpowers on the coming Valentine’s Day & use my superpowers to make it the most memorable day in my husband’s life! 
First, I want the healing-touch superpower. Just my touch, and he’ll get rid of tiredness, body pains and the sporadic infection on his neck. Then, he will feel relaxed!

I wish the superpower to smartly erase all bad and sad memories (in both our minds!) and get the power to Forgive & Forget. Then, we begin the day and the rest of our life on a fresh note! No more complaints how he has forgotten to wish me on my birthday or anniversary or past Valentine’s Days or his grievances about the errors I have committed :D 

I want the superpower of magic- sort, clean and manage everything with the power of my thoughts. Just like “Superman” could get a letter typed just by thinking, even I want such a power that will help me maintain & achieve everything quickly & wonderfully!


I will love the superpower of mind-reading. There is this Hollywood movie- “What Women Want” in which the hero gets to read the minds of all the women and knows what’s exactly going on in their heads. I would love to read my husband’s mind and find out what does he really want! That will be mind Yoga and a beautiful journey!

We both have plans to please the other and fight for the movie-selection- He wants to watch the movie I wish to watch while I choose the film that he wants to!
Ditto for food and choice of restaurant. He goes for spicy Chinese cuisine as he knows that I love it. I am sure his mind might be echoing something like- “I would like to try X-Restaurant,  but I’ll go to Y as she likes it!” 

Enough of getting indulged! Now, I have the powers to make amends and indulge his wishes!

As I have read his mind, I’ll- 

 - Take him where he desires and feed him just what he wants! They say, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach!” That should have him eating out of my hands :D
- Exactly know the distinct shade of formal-white shirt and grey/brown trousers to pick for his wardrobe without being repetitive! (Actually, I never seem to get it right & feel guilty!) 
- Order the book(s) he has always wanted to read 
- Gift him the gadget he secretly desires. 
- Know his choice of curtains too so that I can dress up our home just as the way he pleases & surprise him this Valentine’s Day! 
Then, I can hear him think, “She thinks just like me!” Wow! Our wavelengths and thinking finally match!

I wish for the power of teleportation. All I need to do is think of a place where he wishes to go and we BOTH will be there! I have always wanted to visit many places. But, as he has already been to many already, first we will visit the ones that he hasn't visited! This way we’ll travel the wonders of the world & visit many cities and watch Valentine’s Day and love being celebrated worldwide!

Next, I wish for the superpower of invisibility. This is much needed so that we can escape prying eyes without getting self-conscious or the police demanding us our Passport/Visa in case we get caught in any country during our trip around the world! 

Ah! Nothing pleases the explorer in me that my superpowers will help me explore as I always Dream To Journey with my hubby! Modern life is such that we are like planets moving in our own orbits. Then, there is this “Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus” belief that adds to the weight of our differences! I know that a wise person has said, "Love is about celebrating the similarities and respecting the differences". 


My superpowers will go a long way to erase the distance and we will get to Live, Laugh & Love!
That should make his (and mine!) Valentine’s Day very special and memorable!

Trust, faith, understanding, honesty, patience, acceptance, courage, magic, happiness, smiles... I wish all these and more for us & for all the couples.

      The need to be invisible is there to enjoy the places in privacy :D
      Plus, what if the Teleportation superpower can work only after, say in 5-10 minutes of the first usage. That time is precious and we have to be in that tourist place by avoiding detection!

      Some people do read their loved ones like an open book. For others, words aren't needed.
      I am sure that one day we all will communicate with the power of our thoughts, just like the present Bluetooth technology :).
      Mind-reading can help unravel a lot of secrets. But, then, my other superpowers will come to my rescue :D
