Five

What  comes to your mind when you think of the number 5 or Five?

The 5 Pandava brothers of the Mahabharata?

Or

The Letter "E", the 5th alphabet?

Or

The Letter "U", the 5th vowel?

Or

Jupiter, the 5th planet of the Solar-System?

....

This is the year 2015! Happy New Year!
The number 5 is there in the New Year too!

Recently, my Blogger-friend Sarav aka Someone Is Special - Few Miles celebrated a special event- his Blog's 5th Anniversary!

Sarav is a senior Software Engineer by profession, a Writer by passion & a Photographer by choice. His blog reflects his obsession with words & pics.

To mark the special occasion of his Blog's 5th Anniversary, Sarav creatively invited some Blogger-friends to write guest-posts on the theme- "Five"!

My post was the fifth post of the guest post series.

Thanks to the invitation, I wrote a poem- "Five" about 5.

I thought of 5 & my mind sprung up the following-
My poem Five

  7. Some very unusual thoughts on the number 5, and your poem is thoughtful. I would also think of five fingers, and congrats to Sarav for his 5th anniversary.

  11. I think of "High Five", is a hand gesture that occurs when two people simultaneously raise one hand each, about head-high, and push, slide, or slap the flat of their palm .. This gesture is seen more and more ...
I wish you a wonderful year!
