I grabbed the opportunity to GET.SET.BOLT. in the new BOLT- the newest car from Tata Motors.

I visited the Bolt Arenas in two cities- Bhubaneswar and Kolkata to feel and discover the Bolt.

For my maiden Bolt darshan, I visited the BMC Bhawani Mall in Bhubaneswar, India.

I was very excited when I reached the gate of the BMC Bhawani Mall to GET.SET.BOLT.
I caught a glimpse of the Bolt through the gate itself!

There was a flurry of activity at the Bolt Arena.

As my family had also visited the Bolt Arena with me, we found there was something for everyone there!
While we were busy learning about the features of the Bolt, the youngsters enjoyed playing car-racing App-games on Tabs. There were cool gifts for the winning participants.

We clicked pics with Bolt's brand-ambassador, Narain Karthikeyan. Yes! There was a special stand and App for that!

Apart from taking notes and clicking pics, I posed happily!

Later, I visited the Bolt Arena in Mani Square Mall, Kolkata, India.

I made myself comfortable inside the Bolt while the executive conversed with me.

I loved both the exteriors & the interiors of the Bolt. Following are some of the superior FEATURES :

The wide Rugby-Shoulder Seats are comfortable and provide better back-support. There is good Shoulder-space, Leg-room, Knee-room and Head-room too.

I like the space and height of the Bolt. As my family is tall and so is the Bolt, it is perfect for us.

I sat at the rear-seat and realized the enhanced space and comfort as there was ample leg-room available. Three people can sit comfortably in the rear-seat.

We were impressed with the good quality ride when we took the test-drive in the spacious Bolt.

There are advanced Generation Next Safety features with 9th GEN ABS BY BOSCH WITH EBD AND CSC, CORNER STABILITY CONTROL AND DUAL AIRBAGS.
ABS- Anti-Lock Braking System.
EBD- Electronic brake-force distribution.
CSC- Corner Stability Control.

Also, there are Speed-Sensing Auto-Locks that lock all the doors when the Bolt is in motion.
There are Dual Front Airbags that protect in case of collision.The Bolt ensures that we stay in control and drive safe.

The Tata Signature Steering Wheel

The New Generation Tata Signature Steering Wheel with Integrated Controls gives a new meaning to power steering. The ePAS (Electric Power-Assisted Steering) with Speed Sensitivity and Active Return Function provides excellent maneuverability in traffic. We get to enjoy improved steering stability and command.
The Fully Automatic Temperature Control is effective. We get to feel cool irrespective of the weather.

AC-Vent & Touchscreen Infotainment by Harman

I simply loved the CONNECTNEXT INFOTAINMENT- TOUCHSCREEN INFOTAINMENT BY HARMAN. This offers advanced entertainment and connectivity features.

We can connect with our friends and with own self and not feel blue!
Also, connect with music and the road! We can view videos too!

Smartphone enabled navigation from MapMyIndia is very helpful. We can sync our Phone-Mapping Apps too.

There is AM/FM, USB, AUX-IN, IPOD Connectivity. The Speed Sensitive Auto Volume Control ensures consistent audio quality. There is advanced Bluetooth Connectivity with Voice-Recognition.
Phone-book access, Audio-streaming, Conference-call, Incoming SMS Notification and read-out etc are also available.

I loved the Voice-Command Button on the steering wheel of the Bolt. How impressive that the Bolt like a Genie responds to our voice-commands! Just press a button on the steering-wheel!

Then, make a command after the beep!

The following Voice-Command video shows how easily we can "Set the Temperature to Maximum" and "Tune to" an FM Channel:

"Can you feel the powerful driving experience?", the executive asked us.

The REVOTRON 1.2 Turbocharged MPFi Petrol Engine and the QUADRAJET 1.3L Diesel Engine are notable. My car-enthusiast family was impressed with the technical specifications.

Further, there are Geo-Responders for a smooth ride and Sound Isolators for a quiet cabin.

I loved the first-time-ever feature- MULTI-DRIVE: SPORT, ECO AND CITY.

We can choose any of the modes- Sport, Eco and City depending on our requirements- whether power, fuel-efficiency or a balance between power and fuel-efficiency respectively.
It gives us the power of three engines in one.

The Drive by Wire feature in the Bolt is noteworthy as it is used in aircraft for pick-up and acceleration.

I liked the electrically adjustable LED Lights. I liked the Head Lamps, Tail Lamps and Fog Lamps.
The First-in-Class Smoked Projector Headlamps provide better illumination. Bolting light!

I loved the Tata Bolt Driver Information Display and the Instrument Panel. Apart from providing the Instantaneous and Average Fuel Efficiency, the Bolt also indicates Distance to Empty.This is a great feature as we get to know exactly how much distance we can get to travel before the fuel-tank becomes empty. Cool features to cool down freaking nerves!

The In-Gear and Shift recommendation is great.
Information about the optimum gear is given.We have a chance to learn and correct our driving!

I loved the Adjustable Seats that can accommodate extra luggage in the boot space. Travelers like me have more reasons to travel now with more bags & baggage!

There are these buttons at the back-seats; by pulling these up, we can separate the seats and move them as we wish so that more space is created for luggage.

The horizontal arrows (in the pics below) indicate the point where detachment of the seat happens. The vertical arrow indicates the direction of the movement of the seat.

I loved the stylish and features-rich Bolt! I feel the Bolt is an EXTRAORDINARY premium hatchback as it provides EXTRA features over what the ORDINARY cars provide.
