Christmas Present

He found her abandoned that cold Christmas eve and sensing a glimmer of life, he brought her home.

He was amazed that despite his blindness, her glaring aura attracted him and filled him with bliss about companionship...

He felt she was his XMas present & gently attended to her that snowy night, making all effort to bring back her sparkle

On Xmas, when she woke up, her eyes were misty realizing that she was alive and seeing her kind benefactor.

She wanted to wish him a "Merry Christmas", but all she could manage was licking his face in gratitude, wagging her tail & saying - "Woof! Woof!"

Wish you & your family a Merry Christmas & a sparkling Happy New Year!

  7. Wow! How sweet the story is! What a lovely gift indeed! The story reminds of the gratitude and love dogs show to their owners... Dogs are with mankind for more than 10,000 years it seems, came to know through a quiz program... Wished to share this information with you in return to this wonderful story :)

    TC dear! Keep smiling :)

  11. I came from Josie's comment page. You had a nice present for her, a very nice short story with a surprising end. It reminded me of our daughter's church. For a Christmas Eve gift they are going to give some lucky child a puppy. Our Great GD has been advised that they cannot have a puppy just in case they would win it.

BTW, I don't know if you know but you have an annoying bunch of "Please click me apps on the right hand of your blog. They are obscuring some of what you have written and are bothersome, at least for me. Could it be a virus or has Google been snoopy again? :)

Nice to learn of your daughter's church's Christmas Eve gift. What a coincidence! Puppy is brilliant.
Do hope your Great GD is lucky to win it :)

I am not aware of any such apps on the RHS of my Blog. Would not want any such apps that make accessing my Blog painful. I am sorry about your bad experience.
Need to test it out from other platforms/machines & figure out if that's the case with the other readers as well.
How did you access my Blog? By using computer, tab or mobile-phone?

  19. What a cute Christmas "tail"! Animals definitely have a bit of sparkle in their manner when they are sensing our love and devotion, and their affection and entertainment add a lot of sparkle to our lives too!

(I do not note any annoying adds such as Jim is describing, so the problem may be on his end rather than yours.)

Indeed sparkling with loved ones around & animals exhibit that unconditional love a lot more than humans...

Valid point. Christmas is celebrated just once a year & gives happiness for a few days, but this gift- Dog lasts for a longer time & gives happiness everyday :)

  21. A story filled with love and compassion. It's sad that people abandon pets, but it happens all the time. I was impressed with the London Eye photo. I saw it on a Spring day. It is spectacular lit up for Christmas. Another reason to return. (PS. No annoying ads here)

Yes, people abandon pets... Nice when everyone has a home especially during the tough winter...
