She Danced



She danced wonderfully as she danced from her heart.

She rehearsed sincerely & that set her apart...

She earned praise, medals, awards & many a trophy.

All this was also accompanied by cartloads of envy.


Though they taunted her, a bright future she did chart!

  8. I love this Anita, we can see that your dancer reaped the rewards of her dedication and hard practice. I love that she danced from her heart, anything done from the heart is bound to be rewarding, and yes, there will always be those who envy. This is because they admire achievement but are unwilling to put in the effort themselves. Great poem, I loved it!
