The Sea

How beautiful is the sea!

Sometimes it is calm;

Sometimes it is wild.

The-Sea-By-Anita

So full of mystery!

The nature of the sea reflects-

The human nature to me…

This was the first poem I ever wrote in my life - 'The Sea'.
Expecting publication in my school-mag, I submitted keenly.
My high hopes ebbed when it was NOT selected mysteriously.
Thanks Poetry Jam: The Sea  for this topic & opportunity luckily!

  1. This is a sweet poem Anita. I can't understand why a school mag wouldn't publish it. Your school must have some great poets. ;)
    Congrats on getting your own Domain name. :)

  16. It is superb! Wondering why didn't they select it for the magazine! Is it that they didn't realise the depth of it or were they looking for rhyming words only?

    Glad that you didn't stop there... Else this world would have missed an awesome writer... TC dear... Keep smiling :)
