After-Effects

He & she got married and dreamt of a life starry & jazzy.

They allowed life to happen to them when they were busy.

They ran after schedules & attended to all the demands crazy.

  4. Alas i could do it in such few words but the sad story is i can't but dearie pls pls read mine...a long one though but perhaps echoing some similar strains. i am asking for all to slow down. You know Hindi week is going on and i take time out to read some classic Hindi Poetry...and urs took me to Shri Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan jee. You know what ur poetry is just that excepting for the language...essence being the same...applause applause dear friend. Now language doesn't matter the essence does and the essence here is great too.

      Wow!
Delighted that this poem reminded you of Shri Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan jee.
      Humbled.

No, we didn't have it in our school text. They should make some works common & compulsory for all students to learn...

  9. You have a very good understanding of what being "too busy" can do, how it can steal our life away. This verse was done so well, and the tale is bittersweet. As I am old now, I realize how many things I missed enjoying because life has kept me so busy. But there is still time... Papa Bear and I are spending a week at the ocean next week! :-)

It is so true for most of us. We spend time & then realize what we have lost...
Yes, there is still time & hope. As long as we are alive, let us make the most :)
Great to learn about your exciting oncoming trip! Have a wonderful time :)

  11. Your poem clearly showed how important is to live your life, not just let it happen or else as you get older you will be saying "If only" and "I wish" a lot.
