Kismat

Indian Bloggers

I’ve always aimed for the stars with stars in my eyes & worked hard sincerely.

But, I guess my Kismat* needs help as I haven't got what I deserve or the fruits of my effort rarely…

Last night when I prayed, I saw the moon dropped down to Earth just for me
& I was about to touch it gleefully…

My celebrating wife & kid awakened me from my luminous dream rudely.

Clutching the morning newspaper in their hands like a precious trophy,
they chorused, “You have won the Lottery;
We can now buy our own home finally & live happily!”

  3. Wouldn't that be wonderful? I enjoy my job, but what a fine thing it would be to know I could take care of my family for the rest of our lives. I love dark work, but sometimes a happy piece like this is just what is needed!

  19. Ahem and look at my Kismet...all I wanted was to see the real big moon on Aug 10 th when it was supposed to be closest to the earth...and of all those days of heat and humidity Delhi had to have a heavy downpour that particular day. Now I wait and watch if my Kismet let's me view any of those shooting stars that NASA says shall be happening in the skies...or even that other big moon when it happens again in September.
    :) ...kismet...hmmm...
