Zenith

Don't go by my looks,
Open your eyes & mind wide.

What you can see today,
Is the vagary of time & tide…

Things have been wonderful,
I maintained my integrity & pride.

Now my statue can’t run,
My stature just can’t hide…

My statue is exposed under the sun,
I am spotted from every side…

I knew that I know no magic to stun!
Reaching for the zenith I always did decide…

That’s why I celebrate on a pedestal,
I still live on though the world says I died…

I’m alive in my novel,
Hop on for a ride!

    1. That's so true, Vishal. What matters in life is how well we live it. If we aim for the zenith & do spectacular work, we will be forever alive.. even after death we'll be remembered...
