Yesterday, on Bahuda Yatra, the deities returned to the Temple after the completion of their annual holiday to their birthplace.
Today is celebrated as "Suna Besha" i.e. Golden Attire/Look.
As per the Shree Jagannath Temple history, Suna Besha was introduced during the reign of King Kapilendra Dev in 1460 AD.

It is believed that a crore rebirths are waived off for the one who sees the Gods when they are in this Golden attire/get-up...

As per @PuriWaves, in the year 2010, more than 14 lakhs devotees attended the Suna Besha of the triad.

Suna Besha is very auspicious & eagerly awaited by devotees.
Who can stay away from the lure of gold? Not man, and not even the Gods!
The Gods dress up in pure Gold ornaments & dazzle the world by their purity & of course, Suna Besha!
