The Cathartic Risk

Thanks everyone for your love and support for my previous story- The Intriguing Connivance.
Based on popular demand, here is the sequel. Do hope that you like it!

The sky was foggy and hazy and the sea was stormy and appeared risky.

But, only he was on her mind as she plunged into those cold waters just to chase that boat that was carrying him...

Sometimes love makes us put our life in jeopardy at that spur of a moment and we are ready to risk everything as we feel it is a greater jeopardy not to be with our loved one...

Though she was an expert swimmer, she struggled against the force of the sea that warned her, making her feel like a branchless and odd tree.

Reaching the boat, she felt secured and evergreen in the comfort of his arms that proved to be a cathartic experience for her.

    reminds me of a scene from Titanic where Rose climbs back to the sinking ship only for Jack! cute :)

      True Ankita! In the Titanic movie, Jack makes Rose promise that she'll never let go & she lives.
      That was a sinking ship, while this is a speeding boat that our heroine has to catch! :)

      The boat is carrying him as he doesn't know he has been sent on the boat by her. As per the previous story, he was asleep when she connived with the boatman to take him away as there was a threat to his life.
      He is alive, Saru! She reaches him & feels evergreen.

    i always like love post :) btw the image of this post is behaving in an unexplicit manner with the theme ! dont take it wrong but may be you should keep the size of image medium or small (depending upon image resolution and size)

      Yes, the first image was acting strange when I first inserted it. I have faced issues with images before, but this one tested me the most! I increased its size as then it didn't interfere with the text.
      After hearing from you, I spent some time & managed to reduce the size of the image without affecting the text :) Thanks.

    Dear Anita,

    Even the strongest swimmer needs to use discretion. I related to her arms feeling like useless tree limbs. A good swim will do that. Glad her story had a happy ending.
