The Truth

Top post on IndiBlogger.in, the community of Indian Bloggers

Those threat-mails filled with expletives made her sick,
She had done nothing to deserve this & to be the pick.

Just because she had not said a word in her defence,
Didn’t make her guilty or the culprit of the offence!

She thought her silence was her tremendous power.
If someone called a Rose a “B****”, it’d still be a flower!


She realized she could no longer hide the truth.
She had to come clean with a tooth for a tooth!

The world had to know her true heart-wrenching story,
Enough of doubts; now time to restore her previous glory…

    YES.. SPeak up is the way .. I do feel that once shud say what they want to say .. and leave the rest at least they have Said it all

      Speaking up is the right thing, Bikram. But is it so most of the time? Some decorum needs to be maintained & lines have to be drawn.

      That's a great imagination, Sindhu. True that Mother India is also getting threat emails... But, Mother India needs our help to uphold the truth. This heroine will help herself soon :)

    Its a beautiful one Anita.. I loved the flow of thoughts, the usage of eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth, the comparison with the rose.. Its a really nice breather to read such a lovely composition :)

    A crisp tale depicting "Never back down".....and as per the public demand Anita..the sequel has to provide a worthy ending to these amazing lines...and I am sure it will be equally overwhelming. :)
