Har ghar chup chaap se yeh kehta hai…
(Every Home tells a silent tale)
Ki andar usmein kaun rehta hai… (That who
stays in it)
Chhat bataati hai... yeh kiska aasmaan
hai? (The roof says... whose sky is this)
Rang kehte hain… kiska yeh jahaan hai?
(The colours say... whose world is this)
Kamron mein kiski kalpana jhalakti hai?
(Rooms have whose imagination)
Is farsh par nange pair kiske bacche
chalte hain? (Whose children run bare-feet on the floors)
Kaun chun chunke isey pyaar se sajaata
hai? (Who decorates it with the choicest things)
Kaun is Makaan mein apna Ghar basaata hai?
(Who dwells & makes this House a Home)
Har ghar chup chaap se yeh kehta hai...
(Every Home tells a silent tale)
Ki andar usmein kaun rehta hai… (That who
stays in it)
This ad sets us thinking.
The use of the word Ghar (Home) is notable in contrast to the word Makaan
(House).
I feel a House becomes a Home with the investment of the following extra
things:
Time- Our Time is the most precious gift for a Home. Just like ‘Rome was not
built in a day’, ‘Home is not built in a day’! A Home needs dedicated time
& becomes better.
Love, Care & Cooperation- Allocating Time is easy when we love &
care for our Home & our loved ones. Love & Care makes our Home special & rare! Like in the Asian Paints ad when a Defence officer welcomes his wife Home by doing up her room in her style!
Planning- The inhabitants must cooperate together to decide on what they
want for their dream Home. What colour of the walls? Which paintings to display
in which rooms? Which curtain-cloth to consider? What type of cutlery?
Implementation- The future Home’s inhabitants have to undertake action to
implement their plans.
Resources- Implementation of plans requires resources like time, energy and
of course- Vitamin-M- Money!
Passion & Devoted Attention- Homes become even better when they
experience the passion!
Laughter, Respect, Trust, Goodness…& Virtues- It is said,
“Charity begins at Home”. Also, “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. Why not
have beautiful eyes & hands & participate in the celebration of beauty?
Happiness & Peace – The Home must not be
disputed or under court-case. That can rob away the well-being of the members.
Sweet
words are exchanged generously,
Music
reverberates in the atmosphere.
Wide smiles
& laughter sparkle brilliantly.
Sunlight
has competition & cheer here!
Wonderful
fragrance wafts everywhere,
So many rare
treasures here to share!
All our
favorite things are a touch away,
The most
awesome food makes our day!
It appeals
to all the senses of you & me!
It is
associated with esteem, achievement, safety....
The place
where we love to reach & to roam!
Yes, I’m
referring to- ‘HOME SWEET HOME!’
Nice tips there! but why no pics of your place?? I am sure they would be bubbly and vivacious just as you :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Seeta :)
DeleteActually no pics so that readers can imagine the beauty of a beautiful home through my words! Visualization is a powerful personal experience as we tend to paint what we want to see as per our wish! :)

People make the home; bricks can only make the building. Good points.
