My True Love!

Indian Bloggers

I look forward to his homecoming each morn.
Once he arrives, he has my complete attention!
Sometimes I shut my eyes, smell & just feel…
Most of the times, I’m staring at my fresh deal.

I feel blessed as he shares all he has in store,
Sometimes he makes my heart want more,
As he fills my world with hope & cheer…
I just wanna be very close to him, very near…

At other times, what he shares pains me,
Not his fault as stranger than fiction is reality.
My love for him is famous as I have shown,
I have indulged in PDA* that is well-known!

Cozying up to him even at office or parties!
Be targeted by family-members as friends tease!
Some say we look cool together, others have issues-
My private time with him gives them the blues!

Time flies as my love means a lot to me.
My cup of coffee is wow with his company!
Words cannot express what I feel for him,
If I am a mobile phone, he’s my SIM!

When he doesn’t come, life isn’t the same…
Today, I waited & waited & he never came…
Later I realized that yesterday being Republic Day,
My love, my newspaper, never got printed for today!

Do you love him (newspaper) as much as I do?
If he (newspaper) doesn’t come, do you feel blue?
When he (newspaper) comes, are you stuck like glue?
Is your love for him (newspaper) so true?!!!

Please share your views!

But, my hubby would have a problem as even he loves the newspaper! Maybe the newspaper's gender changes for the opposite sex! Then, I have a problem! :)

  15. I don't love him much as he's caught two-timing in my family with my mom and sis. :-P Both the ladies go mad and fight over him! Jokes apart, this one was quite witty and smart, very well penned. :-)

  21. Nice job, Anita. Newspapers are something to love, irrespective of what kinds of news they bring. Once upon a time, I looked forward to the newspapers because I had have enough to talk about in class. Later on I looked forward to it to see what the sub editors had done to my stories. :D

I so enjoyed your lines here. :)
