It has wonders- Sun, Sand, Sea,
Art, Crafts, Literature, Beauty…
Wildlife Sanctuaries, indigenous Culture,
Ancient History, brilliant Architecture 


This state’s culture is centuries old,
Like India, it is worth its share in gold…


It has special attractions & a wow cuisine,
Rich sights & treasures yet to be seen!


In our National Anthem it finds a mention,
Can you guess – say which location?

    Odisha it is Anita..as you've added the picture of the Great Wheel of the Sun Temple, Konarka..and that silver filigree work..I bought a couple of them during my last visit to Puri, Odisha :-) other pictures are also indicating the same..

    Very nice poem on our state Odisha. Always proud to belong to the land of immense natural beauty and ancient divine architecture, with stalwarts & visionaries like Gopabandhu Das, Harekrushna Mahtab, Madhusudan Das, Nilkantha Das, Biju Pattnaik & an endless list of great men and women....:)

      Thanks Amrita. Very true. Odisha has had an illustrious past with its ancient history & tremendous power as the erstwhile Kingdom of Kalinga. The enterprising youth established trade with S.E.Asia.
      Stalwarts & Visionaries deserve their rightful due. Too many names to list...
