It's great that I get to play Santa to
my daughter.
Some gifts that I want to gift to secure her future...
I want to gift Freedom to
my child to exercise her own choice & to listen to her own inner voice. My
child must feel free to choose and also share with me what she feels… The
freedom to score lesser marks, to sleep a little extra, to sing at the top of
her voice, the skill to debate about anything under the sun with anyone
(including me)…
Some gifts that I want to gift to secure her future...
For my Child's Secure Future I'd like to gift her:
TIME
The greatest gift that
anyone can give a loved one is one’s own Time. Time is a precious resource that
we get to ‘spend’. My Gift for my child is my Time. I want to spend more Quality-Time
with my child. Also, I want her to use her Time wisely.
I want to gift my child the sense to
honor the value of Time for her secure future.
DISCIPLINE
Performing any work as per
optimum level, including spending time, requires Discipline. I want to gift
cartloads of Discipline to my child that will ensure sincerity, efficiency,
planning, meticulousness, good habits, stellar performances...
I want to gift my child Discipline
that’ll help to secure her future.
FREEDOM
I want to gift my child Freedom so
that her future is secure.
AMBITION
Without a goal or aim, life
is like a rudderless ship. My Mom advised- ‘Simple Living, High Thinking’. Like
my Mom did, even I have shared with my child the stories of Ekalavya &
Arjuna, who had only the targets in sight. Once my child knows what she wants,
she’ll be motivated & will persevere to achieve it. I would like my child
to get what she likes, rather than like what she gets.
I want to gift my child Ambition for
her secure future.
HOPE/PATIENCE
With Hope & Patience,
my child will learn to wait and watch with a positive attitude. May Hope/Patience forever be with her.
I want to gift my child Hope/Patience
for her secure future.
Those are the real gifts !
