Gifts For My Child's Secure Future

My child is my sweet little princess- the apple of my eye.
I want that she should be firmly grounded, yet freely fly!

I wish to secure her future- my love'll last even after I'm gone
She'll feel safe & secure- with my gifts she'll never be alone!
Gift Box

For my Child's Secure Future I'd like to gift her:

1. A Great Education-
I believe- 'Education is Wealth'. A good education will make my child well-equipped for the future. I want my child to be a Global Citizen who receives the best education and learns and grows.
There's a Chinese Proverb- "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
I want to feed my child for a lifetime!

2. Financial Prudence & Investment Plan-
I want to gift my child great money-management and investment-planning skills. In fact, first I need to gift myself financial prudence to start saving for her future with smart investment plans. That will ensure steady growth & good returns on my hard-earned money. She will have access to a good amount when she grows up. Higher education is expensive and I need to ensure that she has the gift & privilege to study whatever she pleases.

3. Life-Insurance-

I want my child to feel secure for life. Life is uncertain and I do not know whether I'll be around  tomorrow. But, I would like that my Princess receives the same royal treatment & is pampered for life. I may not be there, but, my care and love still will be... Taking up the right Life-Insurance plans for both me and my husband can ensure that our child continues to be secure and her life will be a party even if either or both of her parents aren't around... All the premiums will be taken care of even after my death.

4. Confidence with Independence-
I want my child to grow up as a confident & independent young lady who'll make India proud. May she live with her head held high (Sar Uthake Jiyo). I dream for a great future for her in which she'll excel & inspire many to follow her footsteps. Just like I am so proud to be the mother of a young angel, may more would-be parents wish & rejoice when daughters are born (& not just sons).

5. Values & Ethics & the ANYWAY Poem-
I want to gift my child the same values & ethics that my Parents inculcated in me- Trust, Honesty, Integrity, Kindness, Compassion, Goodness... all the nicest traits in the world that motivate all to emulate! Just like my Parents gifted me, even I wish to gift my child- Dr. Kent M. Keith's ANYWAY Poem that even Mother Teresa loved. The ANYWAY Poem will make her feel secure even when the world around acts crazy!

    1. Thanks Anil :) Yes, indeed. This is serious & no child's play. I had tears in my eyes while writing it. I guess the emotions will somehow connect with the readers. As far as humour is concerned, I hope not to disappoint you. :)
Thanks for the support & motivation!
